Blom welcomed to board
Deborah Blom, a licensed broker with Real Living, the Real Estate Group, joined Clark College Foundation’s Board of Directors in August 2019.
Blom, 35, who grew up in Oregon and now resides in Vancouver, Wash., cites education and mental health issues facing Clark County residents as areas she is most passionate. In addition to serving on Clark College Foundation’s Board of Directors, she volunteers for Columbia River Mental Health Foundation.
Blom holds a bachelor’s in secondary education and teaching, and a master’s in education from Concordia University. She worked in education at first, serving as a middle school teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Vancouver, and then in the insurance industry before pursuing her current career in real estate.
Blom and her husband, John Blom, who is a Clark County council member, have two children.
