What We Do
As one of the premier higher education institutions in southwest Washington, the opportunities at Clark College are practically limitless. Clark College Foundation exists as an extension of Clark College, working collaboratively with the student body, alumni, and community, toward a simple goal – to make the most of what Clark College has to offer. Clark College Foundation is here to make higher education more accessible, support student success, and cultivate a stronger, more diverse community.
From facilitating scholarships to building the workforce of tomorrow to functioning as a community gathering place, Clark College Foundation works tirelessly to match dreams and aspirations with educational possibilities. We foster connections, bridge gaps, and transcend generations.
Providing Access to Higher Education Through Scholarships
Clark College Foundation understands the transformative power of education and the impact it can have on individuals and the community at large. Consistent with Clark College’s mission to foster an equitable student experience, we strive to provide scholarships and significant financial aid, particularly to individuals encountering potential financial obstacles. We also provide holistic and flexible resources, helping students stay on their educational path through completion.
Our scholarships are designed to empower individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals. When you support Clark College Foundation, you become a crucial part of this mission. Your contributions translate directly into opportunities for students, breaking down financial barriers and cultivating a community where education is a beacon of hope.
Supporting Student Success with Better Programs
Clark College Foundation is unwavering in its commitment to student success through the continuous development and improvement of programs tailored to the diverse needs of our student body. We actively collaborate with Clark College to design ambitious and exciting programs that give students the best of both worlds: the experiences and resources of a large university and the focused attention of a smaller institution.
For example, how often do undergraduates at community colleges get to assist professors with original research? Clark College students got to do just that when they went looking for new antibiotics in soil sampled from ice caves in the crater of Mount St. Helens. And how many community college theater programs have a long-running legacy that can match Clark College’s, which has gone on to launch many careers including one recent Academy Award nominee? And Clark College’s welding program is unlike any other in the entire country, making strides to diversify the traditionally male-dominated welding industry.
We’re Dedicated to Providing Access to Opportunities

Read Our Impact Report
Our annual Impact Report is intended to shine a light on the measurable impact Clark College Foundation is making. This is not a pat on the back – it’s a gut check. Every year, we commission an independent auditing firm to review the data and construct the report.
