Volunteer opportunities range from a few hours to pack Penguin Pantry food boxes, to connecting directly with students, or serving on an advisory committee for a specific degree program.
Seeking a volunteer role?
Here are some opportunities taken by community members, alumni, and business partners:
- Inquire about serving on an advisory committee aligned with your industry
- Connect to the alumni network and be part of an alumni industry panel
- Become a guest speaker in a classroom setting
- Sign up for “Check out a Professional” and become a career resource for a student
- Volunteer to pack boxes or distribute boxes at the Penguin Pantry
- Participate in our April #PenguinsGive campaign as an advocate or donor
- Sign up for practice/mock interviews with career services
- Attend a second-year project expo in STEM
- Support a student club with expertise, supplies, or mentorship
- Participate in MESA’s mentoring program
- List your business as a perk with a discount or promotion in the Penguin Passport for alumni to utilize
- Establish an internship or post student employment opportunities
- Join a Foundation committee

Volunteer Highlight
The Clark College Foundation is volunteer driven via our Board of Directors. There are also several volunteer committees that provide valuable oversight, program support, and development to keep our nonprofit healthy and supporting student success.
