Children’s Dental Health Day
Clark College’s Dental Hygiene program will hold a free children’s dental clinic for the community on Feb. 7, at the Firstenburg Dental Hygiene Education and Care Center on Clark’s main campus at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way.
Available services include exams, cleanings, sealants, X-rays, polishing, fillings and preventive education for children age 18 and under. The Saturday free clinic runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Students, under the direct supervision of licensed dental hygienists and dentists, provide the high-quality dental care for the children who live in the Vancouver or Portland Metro community.
The clinic is open for adults and children for regular services as well. Patients are seen for treatment in the dental hygiene clinic on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Available time for patient treatment varies from quarter to quarter. New patients are required to schedule a screening appointment prior to treatment.
