Clark College Foundation Recieves $100,000 Community Grant from Taco Bell Foundation

The Taco Bell Foundation is awarding a record-breaking $28 million in Community Grants in 2025 – marking the second year that Clark College Foundation has been selected as a grant recipient.

Vancouver, WA. (August 5, 2025) – Clark College Foundation is proud to announce it has been selected as a recipient of a 2025 Community Grant from the Taco Bell Foundation. The funding will support the Clark College Student Success Fund, a mission-driven program that inspires Clark faculty and staff to think big about how to support student success at Clark College. The fund aims to enhance equitable access to wraparound resources and support impactful programs, particularly those that benefit students facing multiple barriers to success (first-generation, limited English, low-income, etc.), helping youth in Southwest Washington access essential resources to achieve their goals.

“We believe that empowering young people is one of the most meaningful ways we can invest in the future,” said Lisa Lane Cardin, Executive Director of the Taco Bell Foundation. “This record investment is a testament to the power of community-driven change and the limitless potential that exists when we remove barriers and open doors.”

Thanks to this grant and the overall fundraising surrounding the Clark College Student Success Fund, Clark College Foundation will be able to offer continued funding for programs that in the past have included a centralized location for student basic needs, new internship pathways in Creative Writing, holistic services for student veterans, financial support for teacher certification, and enhanced job readiness programs for students with disabilities through inclusive training and resources.
