Ensuring Bright Future Campaign Progress
More than $17.3 million raised to date
Vancouver has a rich history of multi-cultural diversity and was a hub of activity for native peoples, British and American exploration, traders from multiple continents and U.S. military operations. Today, our community continues a tradition of opportunity for curious and tenacious people.
Well-educated and hard-working citizens give rise to a vigorous economy. Wondering how things work and committing oneself to finishing a degree no matter the obstacles, are characteristics of a Clark student.
Providing the resources for learning and nurturing minds is where the donors shine. This spring, we announced that we reached $17 million toward a $20 million goal for Ensuring a Bright Future: Campaign for Clark College. The success of this campaign will enable our community’s college to broaden access to education and meet the region’s economic and workforce training needs.
We are focused on raising funds for these key areas:
- Penguin Promise scholarships
- Science, technology, engineering and mathematics education (STEM)
- Excellence Fund for Teaching and Learning, including wired classrooms and other information technologies, and faculty and staff professional development
Progress to date
Since the May 15th announcement of the public phase for the Ensuring a Bright Future: Campaign for Clark College, an additional $681,433 has been raised for a total of more than $17.3 million. Furthermore, we are working with two individuals who are planning to contribute their art collections to the college.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Clark College. With less than $3 million dollars to go, together we can enrich the social, cultural and economic vitality of our community, while encouraging inquisitive minds to keep asking how things work.
