Flynn Creek Circus Captivates Vancouver with The Bridge at Clark College

VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Big Top transformed the corner of Fort Vancouver Way and East McLoughlin Boulevard into a hub of wonder and excitement as Flynn Creek Circus brought its 2025 season show, The Bridge, to Clark College October 2–5. Sponsored by Clark College Foundation, the four-day engagement welcomed enthusiastic audiences who experienced the troupe’s signature blend of daring acrobatics, theatrical storytelling, and irreverent humor.

Inspired by Nordic legend and the architecture of connection, The Bridge delivered a richly imagined world populated by wolves, trolls, goats, and unforgettable characters. Performers stunned crowds with jaw-dropping feats, outrageous physicality, and moments of whimsical comedy, creating a visual spectacle unlike anything previously staged in Vancouver. Select “Adults Only” performances added a punk-rock edge, offering an edgier take on the already boundary-pushing production.

Beyond the excitement under the Big Top, the engagement carried a meaningful impact for Clark students. Opening night ticket proceeds directly supported Clark College Athletics scholarships, reinforcing a shared spirit between circus performers and student-athletes — one rooted in discipline, resilience, teamwork, and pursuit of excellence. Guests also contributed additional gifts, further investing in educational opportunities for Penguin athletes.

The event demonstrated the power of community partnerships and the arts to bring people together and advance student success. Through experiences such as Flynn Creek Circus, the Clark College Foundation continues to expand access to vibrant cultural programming while generating philanthropic support that helps students thrive both in the classroom and in competition.
