Going International
Like the city of Vancouver, Clark College has a history of welcoming people of various cultures, socio-economic status and ethnic diversity.
Nationally, the number of international students enrolled at U.S. college campuses has increased 39.5 percent since 2000—to a record high of 764,495, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.
Clark College is poised to attract some of those students eager to study in America. The international program at Clark currently serves about 75 full-time students annually, but there is a plan to recruit hundreds more over the next five years. By 2018, the college intends to have 300 international students enrolled full time.
