Clark College Foundation offers college and student support through the Clark College Student Success and Innovation Funds, which are made possible through the support of generous donors.  The application process is open annually to faculty & staff at Clark College for spending over the following fiscal year.

As you apply, you’ll be asked to indicate which of the following funds you are seeking:

Student Success Fund

Grants up to $50,000 are available for programs, projects, or initiatives designed to make a significant impact on the academic or life success of current Clark College students.

Example: Using a foundational $42,000 grant, Clark College established a Basic Needs Hub, offering diverse student support services, fostering inclusivity, and increasing retention and engagement. From free snacks and hygiene products, board games, and a comfortable lounge area to the warm smiles welcoming them into the hub at every visit, the Basic Needs Hub is not just a vital student support service on campus but a home away from home.

Innovation Fund

Grants up to $50,000 are available to fund innovative programs, forward-thinking initiatives that drive academic excellence, pioneering teaching strategies, and transformative student experiences. If you have a project that reimagines curriculum, introduces cutting-edge teaching methods, or elevates learning opportunities, we invite you to apply and bring your vision to life! Two types of innovation fund grants are available including implement grants of up to $50,000 and explore grants of $500-$2,500.

Example: Thanks to a $23,000 grant from the Innovation Fund, Clark students in BIOL 105 & BIOL 106 will analyze samples from Mt. St. Helens ice caves as part of their antibiotics research. Plus, BIOL 260 (Microbiology) will explore ice cave microorganisms, bringing real-world discovery into the classroom.

Complete applications will demonstrate a solid plan with key performance indicators, include a detailed budget, align with the college plan, show thoughtful EBDM tool engagement, and have approval from dean and/or VP of the department.
